Report a data breach

Background information on reporting security incidents and suspected data breaches

Interactions attaches great importance to the careful handling, availability, and integrity of information. Our policy is aimed at ensuring that the appropriate technological and organizational measures are in place at all times to guarantee the reliability of information systems and information.

However, a situation may arise in which there is (a suspicion of) a security breach, which accidentally or unlawfully leads to the destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure of or unauthorized access to data that has been transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed.

The security incident may even fall under the category of "data breach."  In that case, we (possibly in consultation with our clients) have a reporting obligation. This reporting obligation means that an organization as the Controller must immediately report to the Dutch Data Protection Authority as soon as a serious data breach has occurred. In certain cases, the data breach must also be reported to the data subjects (the people whose personal data has been leaked).

We greatly appreciate any reports of security incidents (including possible data breaches). This report form is intended for business relations, customers, employees, suppliers, and other third parties to report security incidents or suspected data breaches involving data processed by or on behalf of Interactions. If necessary, we will take the necessary corrective measures based on the information you provide (including assessing whether this constitutes a data breach and whether we are required to report it). You will, of course, receive feedback from us on your report.

After receiving the report, you will receive confirmation from the Security Incident Manager.
